Terms of use
The terms on which brothers use the Epsilon Mu Graduate Chapter website and receive chapter text messages.
Who may use the site
The site is for brothers of the Epsilon Mu chapter of Phi Kappa Tau. Access is by invitation from another brother. An invitation code is meant for the man it was issued to; passing it on gives a stranger the same access it would have given him.
What we ask of you
- Keep to the truth on the roster. Names and associate classes are chapter records, and other brothers rely on them.
- Treat what you find here as belonging to the brother it concerns. Contact details shared with the chapter are not for anything outside the chapter.
- Post as you would speak in a room full of brothers.
What you post
What you write and the photographs you add remain yours. By posting them you allow the chapter to show them on the site to other brothers. An admin may remove anything that does not belong here.
Text messages
Chapter texts are sent only to brothers who have asked for them. Message
frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply
STOP to cancel, HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for
delayed or undelivered messages. See Text messages for the full
description, and Privacy for what happens to your number.
Access can be withdrawn
Chapter admins may suspend or remove access, for conduct that would not be tolerated of a brother anywhere else.
No warranty
The site is run by volunteers of the chapter and is offered as it stands. We do not promise it will be available at all times or free of faults, and the chapter is not liable for loss arising from its use.
Changes
If these terms change we will post the new version here and update the date below.
